FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
How do I become a Legend?
To begin your journey into Legendhood, please start by filling out the sublist application and waiver of liability. Our captains will contact you when an opening to sub becomes available. With good availability, response rate, reliable attendance and good sportsmanship, you may eventually be invited to become a full-time member.
When & where do the Legends teams play?
The Lakes Region Legends is a league of six teams. These six teams play every Sunday at the Merrill Fay Arena in Laconia, NH. Typically, two teams will play at 6:00pm, the next two at 7:30pm, and the last two matchups at 9:00pm. Only the subs who have designated themselves available Sunday nights will get a call to play with one of these teams.
What ABOUT Wednesday & Thursday night?
Wednesday night consists of a specific group of 22 Legends players, playing A CASUAL YET FUN hockey game with the same teams, REd vs. white, for the entire season. The two team rosters are set at the beginning of the year, and are rarely altered. Thursday night is the exact same thing, but with 22 different Legends players, blue vs. white. Only subs who have designated themselves as available Wednesday or Thursday nights will get call to sub for these games.
IF CALLED TO SUB, WHAT SHOULD I BRING?
when playing as a sub, be sure to bring your $20 sub fee. If subbing on wednesday, ALSO bring a red or white jersey depending who you are subbing for. IF SUBBING ON THURSDAY, BRING A BLUE OR WHITE JERSEY, DEPENDING. IF SUBBING ON SUNDAY, YOUR TEAM CAPTAIN WILL PROVIDE A JERSEY.
